So excited to be launching another Griffin & The Bear's block patterns! This gorgeous Fox block is perfect for those wanting to explore Foundation Paper Piecing, which you can incorporate into a sewing project like a quilt, cushion or wall hanging
This Fox block is suitable for adventurous beginners with some prior experience of foundation paper piecing!
The Fox is a foundation paper piecing pattern (FPP) to make a quilt block that measures approximately 14"x18".
It is an intermediate level pattern....but don't let that put you off! If you have done FPP before you can tackle this, it is just that some pieces (the eyes!) are tiny. It is all straight line sewing, no Y-seams!
The pattern is 13 pages long and includes a colouring page, close-ups of the tiny sewing sections, exploded key to show how the sections fit together and the order in which to sew the sections together.
No specific instructions on how to foundation paper piece are included, there are a lot of free tutorials available online.
One Fat Quarter for the background
One Fat Quarter for the main fox colour
Scraps of brown, white, grey, black and textured yellow for the eyes.
